Kyouya Nagi (波岐 京弥 (なぎ きょうや), Nagi Kyōya) is the supporting character of the Sign of Affection manga. He is the paternal cousin of Itsuomi Nagi who is a barista in a small bar.
History[]
Kyouya was born in Japan less than 30 years ago. He had a girlfriend of 6 years.
One day in February, Rin Fujishiro came with Yuki Itose, surprised that she did not answer her greeting, since he did not know that she was deaf. Seeing her interest in Itsuomi, he helps her by encouraging her, and later makes efforts to learn to communicate with her.

Kyouya is a tall man with short cropped hair. He wears his hair to the side.
Personality[]
Kyouya has a calm personality and is calm by nature. Due to his work style, he is friendly and very likeable.
He is a guy who can be considerate of other people's love affairs, but doesn't progress easily in his own love affairs. Due to lack of love from him, it was hard to get close to Rin, but they started dating after Rin stayed at his apartment after losing her apartment key when hanging out with Kyouya.

- The name Kyouya means "capital city" (京) (kyou) and "all the more, increasingly" (弥) (ya).
- Kyouya's surname Nagi means "wave, breaker" (波) (na) and "giving" (岐) (gi).
