" Oushi's World" is the seventeenth chapter of A Sign of Affection Manga series. It has been compiled within volume 5, and is written and illustrated by Suu Morishita.

Plot[]
Itsuomi drags Oushi to the international club. They meet foreigners who speak different languages (English, Spanish, and Thai) with Itsuomi.
Itsuomi suddenly asks him what Komugi's (a bakery near the university) bread he likes, as well as asking him several questions about his studies. This upsets Oushi who decides to leave.
But suddenly Itsuomi asks him what it is that he hates about him, that he only knows his name, and that he likes Yuki.
Oushi denies it, telling him that he can't stand him because of the provocation the other day, and because of the night out with Yuki, even though she is deaf. After giving him reasons he leaves the room.
However, Itsuomi follows him, claiming that the conversation isn´t over yet, making Oushi angry. Itsuomi tells him to go to the bus stop in Morimachi at 7:00 p.m., and that he will listen to everything he has to say.
The stop is at the bar where Itsuomi and Kyôya work, so they go inside to talk calmly. When Oushi sees Itsuomi open a beer, he decides to drink one and begins to question him. When asked about the languages he knows, Itsuomi tells him that they both started for the same reason, but Oushi continues to deny it.
Oushi falls asleep at the bar counter due to drunkenness. When he wakes up, he finds himself alone with Itsuomi. Seeing that it's late, he tells himself to leave, but Itsuomi, seeing his drunken state, decides to follow him.
Oushi gets upset. He tells him to stay away. Itsuomi questions Oushi if he thought he could make Yuki fall for him just by learning sign language. Oushi replies that he didn't start for such a superficial reason. It was during the summer vacation of elementary school when he met Yuki at the civic center where he was going with his sister. Seeing how she communicates, he decided to learn sign language. When the two met again while watching the fireworks display, she begins to sign him. For him, it's like a secret code between them.
As he begins to walk home, Oushi turns around and starts to tell him to break up with Yuki, but Itsuomi calmly replies that it's a two-way thing, and although he can speak several languages and know a lot of people, he will always think that he is lucky to meet Yuki and would decide to be with her. Oushi turns around to approach Itsuomi and punch his arm. He refuses to realize the feelings he has for Yuki.
He also warns him that it won't be easy, and that he isn't into stealing someone else's girlfriend, so he asks him to break off that relationship. When he finishes talking, he breaks down crying.
Itsuomi begins to gently caress his head, confessing that he can't hate him. Oushi pushes his hand away, and warns him not to make Yuki cry. However, Itsuomi laughs and tells him again that he will not to do it.
