Plot[]
As Oushi's friends stare at Emma, he begins to leave, until Emma calls for Itsuomi. He looks around to see them. At that moment, Oushi sees how Emma approaches Itsuomi and touches her arm in a friendly manner, but before seeing how he rejects her, Oushi turns around.
In the end, Oushi becomes curious about Itsuomi and Emma, but seeing that they are gone, he begins to follow them until he sees that they enter an arcade, and gives up on the spy mission.
Emma is playing a crane game at the arcade to pick a stuffed animal, and Itsuomi watches in boredom. Emma tells him that Shin told her that he has a girlfriend. Itsuomi confirms it. He says that it was the girl she saw the other day.
Emma can't help but make her heart pound at the cold Itsuomi, and she thinks about how she's been in love since the first day she saw him. She accuses him that all these years she has confessed her love for him, but Itsuomi tells her that he also politely rejected her.
He asks her what stuff toy she wants to get. Itsuomi asks her to try to get the one in the front but denies helping her. Emma realizes that if he were Shin, he would help her get the toy.
Emma asks Itsuomi why he didn't choose her. Itsuomi confesses that although there is nothing wrong with her. Yuki is different, and that she feels right. When he think about her, Itsuomi puts on a kind expression never seen by Emma. Seeing that she doesn't like Itsuomi's response, she begins to write to Shin. It makes her realize that she has been showing Shin something for years that he doesn't want to see or hear.
At that moment, Oushi was thinking alone on a swing in the park about what he just saw. It's easy for him to think that Itsuomi is bad, but without context, he can't think like that. When it begins to rain, he decides to leave. Just as he was about to leave the park, he sees Yuki walking with an umbrella.
Oushi hesitates to call out to her and returns to the park bench to be hit by the rain. He is so focused on thinking about the missed opportunities to confess to Yuki, as well as the annoyance of not being able to communicate with her, that he doesn't notice Yuki covering him with the umbrella, and asks what he is doing. He debates whether to tell her about Emma and Itsuomi, but he doesn't because he doesn't see her sad.
Yuki takes Oushi's backpack from the bench and offers to share the umbrella with him. As he brushes her shoulders, he decides to grab her, pulling her towards him.
