In the sauna, Yuki's father tries to start the conversation, but is always interrupted by Itsuomi's kindness to people.
Yuki's father asks Itsuomi why he chose Yuki, since she is deaf, and he had to learn to communicate with her. Itsuomi confesses that she was like a crush, since he fell in love with her, and then they got to know each other, making her father blush involuntarily, but he understands that this is the case because he grew up abroad.
Itsuomi continues with his confession that he always learns languages to be able to meet the people most important to him.
After that, the two change places so they can talk about what they're hiding from Yuki.
It turns out that Yuki was the reason why Yuki's older brother, Itaru, broke up with his girlfriend, since he did not tell her about Yuki's deafness, although he never thought it was an impediment, since he only sees her as his little sister. Thinking that she may have a deaf child, they broke up.
Yuki's parents were surprised by this fact.
Yuki's father confesses to Itsuomi that that's why they were discouraged when welcoming him. They thought that today was just an introduction to her boyfriend, but seeing the concern that Yuki didn't feel isolated in the conversation, and that they have thought about a future together, they felt calmer and grateful for it.
But before giving them permission, he has to talk to Yuki's mother, and also starts bombarding Itsuomi with questions about financial matters and his parents' permission, but Itsuomi tells him that everything is fine.
At that, Yuki's father points to Itsuomi's tattooed finger, and asks about its meaning. Itsuomi tells him that only his father knows the meaning, and shows him a photo, causing him to start telling him the story.
At that moment, Emma and Shin are alone in the inn, preparing to go out for a walk together in Yukata.
