Plot

Yuki wrote on the board that it's okay if it's Itsuomi, but quickly regrets and tries to hide it. But Itsuomi has already seen it. He replies that he gets it. Yuki is puzzled by his answer, but she can't clarify her doubt because Itsuomi leaves.

After a while, Shin Iryuu and Emma Nakazono, some of Itsuomi's acquaintances, arrive at the bar and are drunk. Shin scares Yuki by lying on the bar. He introduces himself to Yuki with a business card. He is led away by Itsuomi to a table.

Kyôya confirms to Rin and Yuki that they are two of Itsuomi's high school classmates, and that when he's not drunk, Shin can be very cool. Yuki, turning to look at them again, sees how Emma clings to Itsuomi. She also notices that the way she looks at him seems to be one of love.

Just then Rin receives a message from her mother, who has come from Fukuoka to visit her by surprise, and that they have to leave. Yuki asks Kyôya if Emma and Itsuomi are dating, but he confirms that they are not going out and that they are friends. He said that he doesn't think they would ever date. Seeing her sad expression, Kyôya encourages her by telling her that Itsuomi is serious about learning sign language, and that she should continue teaching him. Through the window Itsuomi tells her to be careful.

Yuki wants to ask Itsuomi if he is still in Japan, as they was no contact between them for four days. Itsuomi messages her immediately asking her whether she wants to meet up with him at the laundromat near the university.

Yuki leaves the house immediately, informing her mother that she will return before her curfew. Since there are only two hours left, she must hurry. Just then, Ôshi sees her and throws a packet of tissues at her to get her attention. Yuki insists that she is in a hurry, because she has arranged to meet with someone. Ôshi gets upset, because he still thinks that Itsuomi is toying with her. Yuki denies it and starts running.

Yuki finds Itsuomi sitting on a bench in the laundry room. She sits next to him without saying anything. Itsuomi gets up and buys her a drink. He asks her for a 10 yen coin and in exchange she gives him a Croatian coin ("kuna"), which she has a bird on it.

Yuki asks him why he goes abroad so often. Itsuomi answers that when they get to know each other more, he will tell her. To which Yuki answers, through a message, that she wants to get to know him more.

When Itsuomi sees her, he signs "how cute", using the sign he learned from Yuki. She confirms that there are different ways, and one of them is patting her head, which makes her wonder why he has been doing it without knowing the meaning of it.

Itsuomi tells her that sign language is very interesting. Without "hearing" him, when he saw her sign, it made his world turn upside down. He said that by living abroad, he naturally became interested in other languages and cultures, and that they became his driving force. Now that seems very close.

Looking back at him, Yuki wonders if he said something, because she was distracted. Itsuomi asks her if she wants to be friends with him. To which she answers that she wants them to get to know each other better. Itsuomi asks her what is the sign for "more". While she shows him the "even more" sign, Itsuomi grabs her hands when he sees that she doesn't stop going up. He smiles at her and confirms that he has got it.

While holding Yuki's hands, he pulls her towards him, and without his expression, he tells her in German, "you're sweet" (du bist süß)

Yuki notices the vibrations, but she doesn't understand what he said. Seeing Yuki's reaction, Itsuomi lets out a laugh, and Yuki wonders if he wanted to get a reaction out of her. She realizes that he is holding onto her, with a strength that will never let go and that she wants to hold onto him just as strongly. She thinks to herself that for a moment it was like the snow outside stopped in midair, but that was just what she wanted to see.
