"A Loving Gaze" is the fourty-eighth chapter of A Sign of Affection Manga series. It has not been compiled within volume 12 as of yet in Japan, and is written and illustrated by Suu Morishita.

Plot[]
Emma finds Shin taking a photo with a female client in front of his work. When she sees her, she starts to ask Shin out, but Shin rejects her because, although it's not formal, he has a girl he likes.
Although the girl has accepted the rejection, when she leaves, Emma tells Shin that she will not return, surprised by his visit, since Emma has been confused since they kissed.
Emma has shown up at his work to ask him out, but Shin tells her that he has another client, and that he doesn't mind if she waits for him at his house, since it's Emma's first time there.
The reason Shin told her that was because the customer Shin was waiting for was Itsuomi, who was coming back to dye his hair silver again. However, Emma comes back, making Shin afraid that she might have feelings for him again.
However, Emma looks lovingly at Shin, whispering to him that she will make him something to eat. Itsuomi comments on how good they look, causing them both to blush. Emma tells Itsuomi that she is Shin's now, and that she has no feelings for him.
As they say goodbye, Shin apologizes for not telling her about Itsuomi's visit, and Emma asks if she can imagine getting married and so on, surprising Shin.
Meanwhile, Yuki is at home giving herself a legs massage after work, looking forward to Itsuomi's arrival, which makes her glad to have those thoughts. That's when she gets a message from Rin, who has gone on a trip with Kyôya to Okinawa.
Looking at the photos, Yuki worries that she and Itsuomi haven't deepened their relationship further, although she knows that doesn't mean he loves her any less.
While she is lost in her thoughts, Itsuomi arrives, giving her a kiss on the head. Seeing him with silver hair, Yuki remembers all the moments lived with that hair.
This also makes her think that Itsuomi always makes the first move when it comes to their relationship, so Yuki decides that she will be the one to take the next step to deepen their relationship.
